Our full day tours really pack in as much as you possibly can in one day. Typically we start by driving to Sintra. We will pick you up from your accommodation wherever it is in Lisbon. The earlier the better.
The morning in Sintra typically includes a trip to the Pena National Palace and Park, and a choice of one or two other palaces before lunch.
Lunch can be taken in Sintra, which also affords a great opportunity to have a look around the old town. Depending on how the morning went, we tend to visit one or two palaces or gardens after lunch in Sintra.
And then head out of the town to pick up some additional sites on the coast such as Cabo da Roca, the most Westerly point of mainland Europe, Cascais and Estoril, Carcavelos, and even Ericeira if that is a priority for you.
Whatever you’re into in Lisbon, we can help you reach your goals. Whether exploring the city and local area, shopping, exploring the famous Feira da Ladra flea-market, the thriving arts and cultural scene in Lisbon, exhibitions, festivals and traditional local celebrations.
Beyond Lisbon, our tours and travel options spread far and wide throughout Portugal. Whether you need transport for business, or holidays, or if you’re looking for a guided tour, our team have knowledge and expertise on all regions of Portugal.
Portugal is small enough that you can visit many different regions and return to Lisbon within a day’s trip. Such examples include Fatima, Tomar, Nazaré and even Alentejo.
The journey by car to Porto is almost exactly 200 miles. Without making any stops you could expect the journey to take around 3 hours. This can also make for a really nice 1 day tour, including visits to Santarem, Alcobaca, Coimbra and Aveiro. Or even a multi-day tour with stopovers where you would like to explore one of the destinations more fully. Coimbra alone is worth a few days when you have the opportunity.
